Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Low Voltage Automotive Electronics Installer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in attention to detail, and is eager to build technical skills in automotive electronics and low voltage systems.
The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions carefully, and a willingness to learn. Prior automotive electrical experience is helpful, but training will be provided for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Install and assist with low voltage automotive electronic systems and components
- Follow written and verbal installation instructions accurately
- Maintain clean, organized, and detailed installation documentation
- Use hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with troubleshooting and identifying electrical issues in DC systems
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts
Required Qualifications
- Strong eagerness to learn and develop technical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Possess the tools necessary to perform the job
- Ability to distinguish wire and component colors accurately (must not be color blind)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive electrical or electronics experience
- Experience with low voltage DC systems
- Basic troubleshooting skills related to automotive electrical systems
- Familiarity with identifying and diagnosing DC electrical issues
