Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and dependable Low Voltage Apprentice to join our growing team in central Massachusetts. This position is ideal for someone looking to start or build a career in the low voltage/security and fire alarm industry. No prior experience is required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, testing, and servicing of low voltage systems, including:
- Fire alarm systems
- Security and access control systems
- CCTV and surveillance systems
- Pull and terminate low voltage wiring
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow all safety guidelines, state regulations, and company procedures
- Work alongside licensed technicians and learn industry best practices
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in the state of Massachusetts
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when required
Preferred (but not required):
- Prior construction or electrical experience
- Interest in pursuing Massachusetts low voltage or fire alarm licensing
