Metro One Security is Hiring! - Loss Prevention Officers - Wanted for San Francisco, East Bay and South Bay CA locations. Full-time and Flex roles available.

Multiple positions for Loss Prevention Officers with Metro 1 Security! These positions will be at our client locations in downtown San Francisco, Stonestown Galleria, East Oakland, Downtown San Leandro and Valley Fair Mall Santa Clara. These roles are for motivated, professional Loss Prevention Officers who are ready to start within two weeks.

• Pay rate for fully qualified candidates is $30 an hour

Loss Prevention Officer Responsibilities:

• Maintain a strong, visible security presence on-site
• Monitor customer activity and deter theft through active patrols
• Identify and respond to suspicious behavior
• Support apprehensions and assist in investigations when necessary
• Document incidents clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with store management and law enforcement as needed
• Respond to emergency situations calmly and quickly
• Familiarity with retail surveillance and safety protocols
• Must have the ability to be tech savvy
• Ability to stay alert and professional in fast-paced environments
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods

Loss Prevention Officer Role Requirements:

• Military service OR 1 year of retail loss prevention experience i

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid CA Guard Card or willing to obtain one quickly

• Oral Drug Testing

• Background check screening

• No more than 3 employers in the last 6 years.

• No employment gaps beyond 6 months.

• Good verbal English communication skills.

• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
