    Job Summary

    Responsible forprotecting theassets of theCompany including Associates,visitors, andproperty to minimize loss. Assists the Loss Prevention Supervisor/Manager by providing daily guidance toLoss Prevention Specialists or the facility's operations team in thecore responsibilitiesof safety, physical security, operational compliance, and theftresolution. Represents the LossPrevention team inthe absence of theLossPrevention Supervisor/Manager.Adheres to Company policies and maintains and supports Company culture and values. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supports facility safety programs and promotes awareness toAssociates and business partners.
    • Assistsandeffectively communicates duringemergencyresponsesituations andfacilityevacuations while maintaining composure. 
    • Ensurescompletionofsafetyinspections, reportingfindingstomanagement. Follows through on the resolution of unsafe conditions and behaviors. 
    • Communicates criticalincidentsandrelevantlossprevention relatedconcernstoLossPrevention Supervisor/Manager or appropriate facility management. 
    • Provides expertiseandguidancetoLossPrevention andfacility teamsduring thedailyexecution of core responsibilities. 
    • Monitorsburglar, lifesafety andfireprotection alarmsystems, reporting functionality issues. Transacts, audits, and supports operations team with trailer yard activities. 
    • Maintainsaworking knowledgeofallLossPreventionSpecialistduties. 
    • Promotes and executes Company best practices. Communicates staffingneedsandissuestoSupervisor. 
    • Reportsrelevantincidentsaccuratelyandtimely tovariouslevelsof leaders. 
    • Serves asaneffective partner tothe operational team inmitigating shrink anddamages. Ensures andvalidatescompletion ofaudits, tasks.andprojectsdesigned topreventloss. Follows up on audit exceptions to point of resolution. 
    • Facilitates Loss Prevention orientations to new hires. Ensurespoliciesandproceduresareconsistentlyfollowed. 
    • Operates video surveillance system tomonitor property and conduct fact-finding investigations. Participates intheftinvestigationsby detecting suspicious activity, researching leads, andconducting surveillances as assigned. 
    • Utilizescovertsurveillancetechniquesandequipmenttoresolvedishonesty. 
    • Providesaccurateandtimelydocumentation toSupervisor andintocasemanagement program. Encourages aculture of honesty by actively promoting shrink awareness and other Company programs. 

     Requirements

    • Minimum formal education,ifany, to perform thisjob e.g., bachelor's degree in accounting, Law Degree). 
    • Highschooldiplomaorequivalent associate degree preferred 
    • Minimum jobskills toperformthisjob(for example:programming languages, strong interpersonal skills, computer software packages). 
    • Ability toleadsuccessfullywithoutonsitesupervision 
    • Ability tomulti-task andprioritize in fast-pacedenvironment,whilemaintaining apositiveand professional demeanor 
    • Sounddecisionmakingskills 
    • Capacity to maintain confidential information Strongverbalandwrittencommunication skills Attentive to details and accuracy

    This position has a starting pay range of $19.05 to $25.75 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
