Long-Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher

Sheboygan Christian School, a parent-governed Pre K-12 school serving approximately 600 students from more than 50 area churches, is seeking applicants for a LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE KINDERGARTEN TEACHER.

The ideal candidate will have a Christian worldview, a passion for Christian education, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The ideal candidate will be warm, professional, and collaborative, with strong classroom leadership and a commitment to excellent instruction. In addition, this candidate will be creative, flexible, a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and have a passion for teaching students.

This position will cover a leave of absence beginning approximately January and continuing through March. Responsibilities include teaching all subject areas in a self-contained kindergarten classroom.

The ideal candidate will create a warm, nurturing classroom environment, provide continuity of instruction during the leave, and guide young learners to grow academically, socially, and spiritually through a Christian worldview.

Experience teaching at the early elementary level and familiarity with the Teaching for Transformation framework is preferred.
