We are seeking applicants for the following position(s):
Long-Term Grade 1 Substitute Teacher
Verona Area School District
Country View Elementary
Position will begin August 24, 2026 to on or around November 22, 2026
Elementary Educator license required
Well qualified candidates will have additional experience/knowledge including but not limited to:
Proven dedication to equity and culturally relevant pedagogy
Prior experience with or knowledge of PBIS, Responsive Classroom, and Restorative practices.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Instructing students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods
Using data and progress monitoring
Collaborating, co-teaching, and co-planning with colleagues
Adapting teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students'' varying needs and interests
Ability to read, write and speak in Spanish a plus, bilingual (Spanish) skills are prioritized
