Cash Application Specialist – Long-Term Contract

Location: North Orlando
Pay Rate: Up to $23/hour

Our client is expanding their finance team.

Schedule

• Shift Options: Monday–Friday | 6am–3pm, 7am–4pm, 8am–5pm, or 9am–6pm (1-hour lunch)

• Hybrid Schedule: In-office Tuesday–Thursday after training.

Minimum Requirements

• Background in banking, medical billing, accounting, or finance

• High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong 10-Key Data Entry skills (must score 9,000+)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Cash application or Accounts Receivable experience

• Experience with ERP systems (Eclipse preferred) and OCR (Optical Character Recognition)

What You’ll Do

• Process customer payments via bank lockbox, electronic payments, and branch deposits

• Utilize OCR and workflow technologies for efficient processing

• Reconcile General Ledger Accounts and ensure transaction accuracy

• Research and resolve payment exceptions

• Review and complete daily Cash Application reports

• Communicate with internal teams for issue resolution
