Description
Job Title: Pharmacist
Pay rate: $64.27 an hr
Location: Reno, NV 89502 (Onsite — 4750 Longley Ln, Ste 204)
Start: ASAP (candidates should be available immediately)
Schedule
Mon–Fri: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM
Every other weekend: Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
We’re seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support onsite pharmacy operations in Reno, NV. In this role, you’ll dispense medications, counsel patients, ensure compliance with pharmacy law, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Accurately accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications
Counsel patients on proper use, dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage (Rx and OTC)
Monitor for non-compliance/over-usage patterns and identify drug-related problems
Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files
Provide patient services and education (e.g., blood pressure/glucose device guidance)
Compound medications as needed; prepare sterile solutions following procedures
Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians/clerks) and support workflow coverage
Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical/medical supplies
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
Requirements
PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) required
Active Pharmacist license in the state (state board of pharmacy)
