Summary
The Long-Term Care Auditor I is an entry-level position responsible for the identification and recovery of Medicaid improper payments made to long-term care healthcare providers. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Long-Term Care Auditor I to join our team.
In this entry-level role, you'll support the accuracy and integrity of long-term care Medicaid payments by conducting audits, analyzing financial data, and partnering with providers throughout the review process. The ideal candidate excels at problem-solving, communication, and managing multiple priorities.
Your role in our mission includes:
• Interpret and apply federal and state Medicaid regulations, statutes, and policies related to long-term care. • Analyze provider records across multiple accounting software systems to identify discrepancies. • Identify improper payments, including those resulting from inaccurate payments, collections issues, and coordination of benefits. • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned long-term care providers, ensuring clear and consistent communication. • Manage a caseload of 30+ in various stages of completion. • Prepare and deliver provider reports and maintain ongoing communication throughout the audit process. • Provide regular status updates and reports to management.

Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
