Description:

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years is seeking a Logistics Technician III to support production logistics, inventory movement, and material handling operations in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with warehouse, shipping, logistics, or inventory experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production setting.

Job Title: Logistics Technician III

Location: Fairport, NY
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Fairport, NY

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: Thursday - Sunday: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

 

ITAR/DOD Compliance Required: Candidates must meet ITAR requirements and be U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily production logistics by moving materials and processing inventory transactions within production systems.
  • Prepare materials for manufacturing and production activities.
  • Operate Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs), mobile racking systems, pallet jacks, and material carts.
  • Complete scheduled van runs between Fairport facilities to transport materials and production parts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and production records using manufacturing systems.
  • Perform cleanroom sanitation and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
  • Interface with manufacturing execution and document control systems.
  • Train team members on production support procedures and logistics operations.
  • Follow established work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of warehouse, shipping, logistics, inventory, or related experience.
  • Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
  • SAP experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and safely operate material-handling equipment.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Working Environment

  • Cleanroom manufacturing environment.
  • Frequent movement of materials throughout production areas.
  • Required PPE includes safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, facemask, and cleanroom garments.
  • Regular use of pallet jacks, carts, and warehouse equipment.
  • Occasional travel between Fairport facilities using a company van.
