Job Description:

Logistics Supervisor

Location: San Bernardino, California (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead a team of associates. This role ensures safety, quality, and productivity metrics are met. The supervisor will also lead process improvement projects and participate in cross-functional teams on warehouse and network design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of approximately 25-30 direct reports, holding them accountable to standards.
  • Oversee logistics activities including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, planning, order processing, and customer service.
  • A leader who demonstrates strong independent judgment and can confidently make decisions without requiring input or consensus from other leaders on the team.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality and service issues relating to logistics operations.
  • Assist in developing the site logistics budget with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate operational redesign projects to improve performance and meet customer needs.
  • Monitor fixed assets and coordinate implementation of approved capital improvement projects.
  • Communicate standard logistics metrics to direct reports and resolve service and cost issues.
  • Maintain a safety-first mindset in all operations.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or related environment.

Experience: 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment, having led a team of at least 25-30 direct reports.

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with SAP, MS Access, and Excel.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, think critically, and work well in cross-functional teams.

Position Details

The work schedule is for the 3rd Shift, Sunday-Thursday, from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with occasional overtime as needed. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
