Logistics Manager
Well-established consumer products manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a hands-on Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse, inventory, transportation, and logistics operations at their local facility.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for warehouse operations, freight coordination, inventory accuracy, order management, process improvement, and leading a warehouse team in a fast-paced environment supporting major national retail customers.
The company is looking for a boots-on-the-ground leader who enjoys being active on the warehouse floor, improving processes, leading employees, and driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse and logistics operations
Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, and order management
Lead warehouse staff, including supervisors and warehouse personnel
Coordinate freight carriers, transportation vendors, and routing activities
Monitor freight costs and help drive cost-saving initiatives
Ensure inventory accuracy and proper warehouse organization using FIFO methods
Develop and improve SOPs, warehouse flow, and operational processes
Partner with internal departments including sales, planning, and operations
Track KPIs related to shipping accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and productivity
Support safety compliance and warehouse best practices
Coordinate facility and warehouse equipment maintenance as needed
Qualifications
Experience leading warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations
Strong SAP experience required
Experience working with freight carriers, routing, and transportation management
Background in inventory control and warehouse operations
Experience leading warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on management style with strong floor presence
Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
