REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE:

Current Secret Security Clearance

At least 8 years of acquisition experience in a United States Army Project Offices or supporting LCMCs required.

Participation in technical Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings or coordinating with engineers and technical staff.

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards

Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors

Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary

Ability to adhere to workplace rules

Experience working in a DOD field

Microsoft Office 365 Tools

US citizenship is required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

8 years of related logistics experience with a BA/BS or 16 years of logistics experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Assures that critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide a cohesive approach to logistics support requirements.

Plans, directs, coordinates, manages areas of the logistics program which encompasses the operations and activities related to logistical support provided to the Program Executive Office (PEO) Project Management Office (PMO)/Program Management Office (PMO).

Has the responsibility and authority for integration of separate functions to include funding, supply, maintenance, procurement, provisioning, transportation/transportability, new equipment training and fielding of assigned systems and/or equipment for the logistics management program throughout the entire lifecycle of assigned systems.

Logistics Management Specialist shall possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

Knowledge and experience in DoD Acquisitions and specifications to ensure product planning, development, acquisition, fielding plans, schedules, and strategies

Knowledge and experience with AR 770-3 and DA PAM 770-3 to obtain a weapon System Type Classification (TC) and Materiel Release (MR). The candidate will have experience with the processes and staffing of TC and MR packages through the proper Functional Authority's (FA). Have knowledge of the different Materiel releases for both hardware and software. Experience with inputting MR data in the Materiel Release Tracking System (MRTS). Tracks/monitors MRTS get well planning dates and conditions. Informs the Product Support Manager (PSM) of required get well extension request. Holds TC/MR Integrated Product Teams (IPT), prepares briefing materials, tracks meeting minutes, maintains action item tracker.

Knowledge and experience with AR 750-10 Army Modification Program, DA From 7591 Modification Work Order (MWO) fielding plan, DA Form 7592 modification work order exhibit of concurrence. Understands Class I and II engineering change proposals and the relationship to the MWO process. Experience with inputting/tracking MWOs in the Modification Management Information System (MMIS), tracks unit compliance for MWO application. Coordinates MWO packages with the Life-Cycle Management Command MWO coordinator. Schedules MWO validation (VAL) and verification (VER) events with stakeholders, and Original Equipment Manufacture or Government Agency. Schedules equipment users for VER activities through the appropriate Capability Manager and or CASCOM. Identifies contractual language and CDRLs for MWO requirements to include in the Statement of Work and or Performance Work Statement.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ensure logistics considerations are integrated into system design to enhance reliability, maintainability, and availability.

Write, manage, and staff acquisition logistics documentation

Provide briefings, presentations, and written reports to leadership, management and peers.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs such as, but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams etc.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested

Work with members of the LE Division Team, as required
