COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay: $20.00-$22.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday | Approximately 7:00 AM (or 8:00 AM) to 3:00-4:00 PM
• No weekend work anticipated
 • Temp-to-Hire | 720-Hour Conversion | W2

ROLE IMPACT
 Join a growing transportation and logistics team responsible for keeping freight moving safely and efficiently. In this role, you will coordinate daily dispatch operations, communicate with drivers and customers, and help ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining accurate records. Success is measured by strong organization, responsive communication, and reliable execution in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Dispatch container trucks and dry van freight to support daily transportation operations.
• Communicate with drivers and customers regarding schedules, shipment status, and delivery updates.
• Monitor freight movement, resolve transportation issues, and maintain accurate dispatch documentation.
• Manage customer accounts, shipment information, and administrative tasks related to dispatch operations.
 • Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate schedules and maintain an efficient workflow.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-3 years of transportation, logistics, or dispatch experience.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
 • Reliable, detail-oriented team player who lives within 30 miles of North Charleston, SC.

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Dispatch and transportation management systems
• Microsoft Office or comparable office software
• Computer-based scheduling and recordkeeping systems
• Customer account management tools
 • Freight tracking and shipment documentation

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with container trucking and/or dry van operations.
• Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize changing workloads, and work independently.
 • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team.
