Department: Service
Reports to: Service Manager or Aftermarket Manager
Supervises: None
Purpose
Supports sales and service departments by managing pickup and delivery of equipment while providing assistance with building and yard maintenance.
Responsibilities
Unload and load equipment on or off trucks
Organize the lot and manage inventory every month
Manage the serial numbers
Answer phones, texts and emails
Organize the lot, equipment, pallets, inside building and other related items
Identify, coordinate and perform general cleaning and maintenance items
Call customers and schedule day and times for pick up or delivery
Check inventory daily to see what needs to be completed, put away, brought to the front, etc.
Optimizes vehicle assets to improve routing and capacity, ensuring timely pickup and deliveries
Communicates accurate pickup/delivery dates and details with internal and external employees
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local transport and vehicle regulations, reporting and permitting processes
Manages lifecycle of equipment, aids in determination of transportation needs and required capabilities within budget
May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
Understanding of delivery logistics and regulatory delivery practices
Must be organized
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
Knowledge of basic computer applications, Microsoft programs as well as scheduling applications
Basic machinery and vehicle capability knowledge
Experience communicating effectively verbally over the phone and in person, as well as in writing
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
Must have a good sense of humor
