Schedule: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Mon-Fri

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support shipping, inventory, and transportation operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is primarily office-based but requires frequent interaction with warehouse personnel, carriers, and drivers to coordinate daily shipping activities and ensure efficient logistics operations.
The ideal candidate has strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily outbound shipping activities and transportation schedules
  • Schedule truck, trailer, and LTL appointments while managing dock availability
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and carriers regarding appointments and shipping documentation
  • Process raw material receipts and inventory transactions using warehouse management systems
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping paperwork, and outbound documentation
  • Generate and maintain shipping reports and logistics data
  • Coordinate rail shipments, releases, and scheduling with transportation providers
  • Order and maintain shipping supplies, office supplies, and dunnage materials
  • Track shipment performance and support continuous process improvements
  • Troubleshoot shipping, documentation, and carrier issues to minimize delays
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, transportation providers, and internal departments
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety, shipping, and transportation procedures
  • Perform additional administrative and logistics duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of phone calls and emails
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
