SUMMARY: WR Government Business Solutions is seeking a Logistics Coordinator II to provide end-to-end support for material handling, storage, and logistics operations related to advanced research and development (R&D) engineering systems and equipment.
 
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provide material handling, warehouse, storage, and logistics support for engineering systems and equipment.
  • Monitor material requirements and track movement with purchasing, production, and warehouses in accordance with established priorities.
  • Coordinate the transfer of materials, parts, and finished products between source locations and final destinations.
  • Input and maintain required property records and database files.
  • Support property physical inventory audits.
 
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Three (3)+ years of experience in logistics tracking, reporting, recordkeeping, warehousing, material transfer, issuance, and disposition of government and/or commercial property.
  • Two (2)+ years of experience supporting government property requirements and/or defense life-cycle material management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop alternative plans to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery.
  • General knowledge of administrative procedures and analytical practices related to technical and logistics operations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements, manage time effectively, communicate clearly (written and verbal), and confidently recommend process improvements.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 lbs. throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment around PPE requirements and operating forklifts.
  • Ability to work onsite in an office/warehouse environment. This is not a remote position.
 
Preferred experience and skills:
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Qualified forklift operator.
  • Experience with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) GFP Shipping and Receiving.

Position Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000. The listed salary range represents the typical range for this position. WR bases the offered salary on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, knowledge, and skills, scope and responsibilities of the position, and market and business considerations.
