Logistics Coordinator 

Elizabeth, NJ

 

Compensation Includes

  • Starting Pay Rate of $21.63 - 26/hour 

Overview
Responsible for setting up delivery appointments and customer pickups. Notifying customer service representative and warehouse team if there are any discrepancies with shipments. Must have Microsoft Office knowledge. 

 

*Please note that this is an full-time onsite position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Set up delivery and customer pick up appointments
  • Confirm inventory on product before shipping
  • Respond to email in a timely manner
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisors with the assignments for the Forklift drivers and other duties
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisors on any tasks needed
  • Request carriers for pre-loaded shipments and entering loads into TMS
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
  • Regular contact with other employees, Supervisors and Managers
  • Make decisions about how to correct situations and errors. Should keep Warehouse Supervisor informed of progress

Qualifications

  • Reading, writing, and basic math skills are needed for this job

  • Must be computer literate. Must have knowledge of Microsoft AX, Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Must be able to problem-solve to make sure that customers are satisfied

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and management

  • Knowledge of Forklifts

  • Self-managing organization and time management skills

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Must be familiar with computer programs including Microsoft AX, Word, Excel, and Outlook
