Description
ResourceTek is seeking a Logistics / Distribution Associate to support a leading technology and manufacturing company in their distribution and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse or distribution experience and be comfortable operating material handling equipment.
Experience operating high-bay order pickers is preferred. Previous certification is not required, as candidates must successfully complete the company's internal equipment certification training.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing lists.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including high-bay order pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Safely retrieve materials from elevated storage locations.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience operating high-bay order pickers is strongly preferred.
- Ability to become certified on warehouse equipment through the company's internal training program.
- Basic computer and inventory management skills are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb as needed.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights while operating high-bay order picking equipment.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
