Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage import/export and customs documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and related documentation
- Coordinate forwarders and carriers (UPS/FedEx/DHL and freight forwarders); manage inbound and outbound shipping schedules
- Handle import and export requests from overseas affiliates and HQ; proactively share shipment status updates
- Process customs clearance for inbound and outbound cargo; resolve issues such as short/wrong shipments, returns, and re-exports
- Manage orders, inventory, and product listings in the ERP system
- Investigate customs delays and drive preventive corrective actions
Qualifications
- Fluent Korean (native level) and business-level English required — daily communication with Korea HQ/affiliates and U.S. operations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, trade, or import/export operations
- Strong attention to detail and document accuracy; reliable follow-through on open issues
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Experience at a package-forwarding service or Korean-affiliated forwarding/logistics company preferred
- Hands-on experience with import/export and customs documentation preferred
