The Role
The Logistics & Raw Material Supervisor is responsible for all raw materials, warehouse, shipping, logistics, and inventory management functions to include but not limited to, labor scheduling, storing, shipping, space management/cycle counting and housekeeping. Supervise logistics and raw material personnel to attain high degree of safety and efficiency. The Logistics and Raw Materials Supervisor will be responsible for managing the forklift fleet, plant wide. This position reports directly to the Logistics and Raw Materials Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
+ Responsible for daily operations at Ennis, TX plant and must be able to travel to offsite warehouses, as necessary
+ Manage raw material ordering and replenishment to maintain production schedules, including specialty materials (e.g., colored granules, headlap, copper) as required
+ Develop, administer, and submit periodic raw-material forecasts (e.g., glass mat, asphalt, coating, polymer, granules, headlap) to corporate purchasing/supply chain and communicate changes as needed
+ Maintain accurate raw material and finished goods inventory through cycle counts, physical inventories, audit support, and timely communication of results and corrective actions
+ Prepare end-of-month raw materials inventory reports, complete cycle counting, and process inventory adjustments accurately and timely
+ Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S/TPM/WCM), including tracking and reporting cost reductions and performance against relevant KPIs to improve safety, service, and efficiency
+ Coordinate and manage inbound/outbound rail logistics, including daily switching activities and railroad movements for raw materials
+ Monitor and verify the accuracy of materials shipped and received; resolve discrepancies to protect inventory integrity and production flow
+ Direct daily logistics and raw material operations, including material handling, forklift/fleet inspections, equipment and dock issues, truck loading/traffic flow, housekeeping/5S, and team activity coordination
+ Accurate management and completion of cycle count procedures and how it can affect inventory and all warehouse/raw material functions
+ Supervise and develop the logistics team by managing time/attendance and performance issues, ensuring role training, and promoting a strong, respectful work environment
+ Ensure a safe environment for employees, contractors, and visitors through full compliance with EHS policies and regulations
+ Flexibility to adjust department operations as required to meet customer requirements and dynamic business conditions
Qualifications & Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or relevant degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
+ 3+ years supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (preferred)
+ Proficient in use of MS Office (familiarity with UKG and SAP a plus). (required)
+ General understanding of ISO methodology. (required)
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (required)
+ Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, WCM, and 5S a plus. (required)-
