Logistics Accounting Clerk I

Primary Purpose

This position assists the Logistics Accountant and Logistics Accounting Supervisor with performing daily transactions and account reconciliations for Transportation, garages, freezers and export freight.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepares daily invoice uploads for export freight payment.
• Prepares daily invoice approvals and uploads for freezer payments.
• Prepares and publishes the internal freezer report.
• Tracks export freight costs.
• Promotes and maintains a safe and secure work environment in accordance with Mountaire policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (Bachelor's Degree will pay $1 more per hour.).
• 0 - 2 years' related work experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to complete tasks thoroughly, timely, accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Requires extensive use of Excel and some familiarity with other software programs.
