Join Our clients team as a Logistics Coordinator and play a vital role in streamlining global supply chain operations within the food manufacturing industry. We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and proactive individual to oversee end-to-end contract administration, coordinate international shipments, and support operational efficiencies across logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including execution, documentation verification, record keeping, and archiving to ensure compliance and easy access.
- Track and monitor shipment schedules (sea, air, courier, small-lot containers), proactively communicate delays, and conduct routine follow-ups with sales leadership.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics vendors to secure competitive quotes, book shipments, and confirm schedules-handling chilled, ambient, and specialized cargo requirements.
- Support sample requests from the sales team within 24 hours by coordinating export/import shipments and tracking deliveries meticulously.
- Collaborate with external bookkeeping and accounting partners to assist with financial operations, Accounts Payable, and maintain accurate company records.
- Maintain centralized documentation, including certifications, customer requirements, product images, and specifications, ensuring compliance and ready accessibility.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to minimize errors, reduce delays, and enhance overall logistics efficiency.
- Assist with import/export operations, understanding Incoterms and international trade regulations to define responsibilities and minimize risks.
- Support the ERP system (Business Central) and MS Office tools, especially Excel (Pivot Tables), Word, and Outlook, for reporting and data management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar logistics role, with a proven track record in container shipments and international import/export documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Solid understanding of international shipping, freight responsibilities, customs clearance, and Incoterms.
- Experience working with ERP systems, specifically Business Central, and strong proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of food industry logistics is highly desirable.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, with written and spoken proficiency in Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Spanish, or Arabic preferred.
- Demonstrated stability in employment history.
