  • Shift: Flexible, outpatient and inpatient oncology shifts (schedule details to be discussed)
  • Hours/Week: approx. 40 hours/week
  • Employment Type: Locum-to-Perm
  • License/Certifications: SC medical license (or willing to obtain), Board Certified in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology preferred
  • Experience: Prior oncology clinical experience preferred

What You’ll Do
  • Manage outpatient and inpatient oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment plans
  • Prescribe and oversee chemotherapy and supportive therapies, with nurse oncologist assistance
  • Provide consultation for complex cases and coordinate patient care across the facility
  • Contribute to patient education and support services
  • Assist in complex procedures such as bone marrow transplants when applicable

What You Need
Required:
  • Medical license for South Carolina or eligible to obtain
  • Board Certified in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
  • Proven experience in oncology outpatient/inpatient care
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team

Preferred:
  • Experience with blood bank management and bone marrow transplants
  • Knowledge of EPIC EMR system
  • Ability to participate in tumor boards and complex treatment planning
