About the Role

As an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider, you will deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages presenting with a broad range of acute and chronic conditions. You will work alongside experienced physicians and clinical staff in a supportive, team-based environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations across the lifespan
  • Manage urgent and emergent care needs
  • Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Clinical Scope

This position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license, including:

  • Suturing and minor procedures
  • Management of uncomplicated fractures
  • Emergency stabilization and acute care
  • Use of diagnostic tools such as EKG, ultrasound, X-ray, and lab services
  • Care for adult and geriatric populations

Providers typically see between 12–19 patients per day, allowing for both meaningful patient interaction and a balanced workflow.

 

Work Environment

  • Structured 10-hour shifts with multiple start times
  • 24-hour physician coverage for support and collaboration
  • Dedicated nursing and technical staff

Qualifications

  • Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active, unrestricted NP or PA-C license in any U.S. state
  • DEA license
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS
  • Strong commitment to serving rural and underserved populations
  • Collaborative, mission-driven mindset
