Shift: Days, 8a-4:30a, 8x5, 40 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
Open to locums to perm options Specialty: Hematology/Oncology APP (PA or NP) Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 3-6 months Shift Details: Day shift – 8a – 4:30p Schedule: Monday - Friday Work Details: • Support staff: Yes • Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time, Mon -Fri schedule • Patients per day: 11-16 • Patient population/age: all ages • Department description: Hematology/Oncology, total hospital size 686 beds • EMR: EPIC • Special procedures: Just hematology inpatient services • Skills required: Experience with Heme patients – benign/malignant REQUIRED Very Hem focused. Practice Setting: o Hospital Requirements: • Board Certification: PA or APP • State license required: MN license • DEA: NO Can do temp privs if background is clean! Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days Willing To License?: Only if IMLC Support staff for MDs: we would have APPs on the inpatient side to help (on both hematology and oncology) No APP support for taking call or on the weekends, but during the day, they would have APP support. ADDITONAL INFO: We are building our bone marrow practice, but at the moment, just having knowledge around it but not really specialized would be fine. The hematology APP would be required to be comfortable with benign and malignant heme. I have 2 APPs needed, one for Oncology one for strong hematology focus There are no locums covering the infusion center, it is our people Regarding acute care certs – just BLS and ACLS – nothing really special needed.
