In this vital role, you will perform onsite radiology procedures across a range of modalities, including XR, CT, MR, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. Your case mix will encompass diverse subspecialty areas such as ER, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, MSK, neuro, pediatrics, and mammography diagnostics. You will also be responsible for performing light interventional radiology procedures, biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, arthrograms, and joint injections, handling a daily volume of approximately 90-100 cases with an expected wRVUs of 60-70 per shift.
The successful candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and excellent communication are essential to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure optimal patient care.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Radiology.
- Proven proficiency in XR, CT, MRI, US, and Nuclear Medicine imaging.
- Experience performing interventional procedures, including biopsies and drainages.
- Good understanding of radiation safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet daily volume expectations.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Subspecialty training or experience in neuro, pediatrics, or mammography.
- Previous experience working in a locum or temporary role.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Additional certifications in specialized radiology procedures.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Radiology residency program.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-training clinical experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 02/13/2026.
- Must meet all state licensure and certification requirements.
- Capable of handling onsite procedures and working independently.
- Travel and other reimbursements will be provided as applicable.
This opportunity offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $19.50, with all-inclusive rates capped at $625/hour, covering travel, malpractice, and related expenses.
