As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services across diverse modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. You'll work on-site, engaging with a broad case mix that includes emergency, interventional, neuro, pediatric, mammography, and minor procedures, ensuring you gain diverse and enriching experience. This position offers a flexible schedule starting from April 28, 2026, ideal for radiologists seeking to supplement their practice or explore new opportunities.
Required Skills:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiology
- Active PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one
- Proven proficiency in radiologic imaging modalities: XR, CT, MRI, US, Fluoroscopy, NM
- Experience performing diagnostic procedures, biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and joint injections
- Strong attention to detail and excellent diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Subspecialty expertise in areas such as Neuro, Peds, MSK, Mammo, or Nuc Med
- Experience with light interventional radiology procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Previous locum or temporary staffing experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency radiology experience
- Prior experience working in hospital or emergency settings
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work onsite at Windber, PA
- Certification in ACLS/BLS (if applicable)
- Must include malpractice coverage in rate
- Willingness to start on or before April 28, 2026
Enjoy a highly competitive hourly pay rate of $19.50, all-inclusive of travel and expenses, with a generous billing rate cap of $625 per hour.
