We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician specializing in Radiology to provide essential overnight coverage for urgent and high-priority cases. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work remotely, handle diverse modalities, and collaborate with a reputable medical management team committed to your success.
In this pivotal role, you will interpret diverse imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound, primarily focusing on ER, inpatient, and urgent cases. Your expertise will directly contribute to timely diagnoses and patient care.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a radiologist with proficiency in XR, CT, MRI, and US modalities.
- Ability to interpret high-volume emergency and inpatient cases swiftly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with medical staff.
- Availability for overnight shifts Monday through Friday.
- Licensure and certification as a radiologist in the relevant state.
Nice to Have Skills
- Sub-specialty experience in MSK and Neuro radiology.
- Prior remote coverage experience.
- Familiarity with high-acuity case handling and rapid reporting environments.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with board certification in Radiology.
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience, preferably in emergency or inpatient settings.
- Active state medical license and current malpractice insurance.
Other Requirements
- Must be available to start on 02/07/2026.
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup for remote work.
- Travel and certification reimbursements as applicable.
This position offers an hourly rate of $19.50, with compensation structured to include malpractice coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, and comprehensive medical benefits.
