We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician in Diagnostic Radiology to provide exceptional imaging services at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. What You'll Do:
- Conduct onsite diagnostic imaging exams including XR, CT, MR, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and Nuclear Medicine.
- Perform light interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and lumbar punctures.
- Manage a diverse case mix involving ER, pediatrics, neuro, Mammo, and more.
- Collaborate with a dedicated medical team committed to delivering high-quality care.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure.
- Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Proven experience in diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures.
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and procedure protocols.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced subspecialty cases such as neuro or pediatric radiology.
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record systems.
- Previous locum or temporary radiology work.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree with fellowship training in diagnostic radiology.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical radiology experience.
- Prior work in hospital or multi-specialty outpatient settings preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 04/28/2026.
- Ability to work onsite in Kittanning, PA.
- Willingness to comply with all licensure, certification, and hospital credentialing requirements.
- Participation in paid malpractice, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable.
Compensation is competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $19.50, paid weekly via direct deposit. We also offer comprehensive benefits, paid sick time, and a supportive team dedicated to your success throughout your assignment.
