Locum - Physician - Radiology Charleston, WV

Your expertise will help deliver timely, accurate results that directly influence patient outcomes in diverse clinical settings.
In this position, you will be expected to interpret a variety of imaging modalities, including X-Ray, CT, MRI, US, and Nuclear Medicine, primarily focusing on ER and inpatient exams, with occasional outpatient work. You should be comfortable handling stroke exams and managing subspecialty cases in MSK, Neuro, and Nuc Med. The role demands quick, precise decision-making and a strong ability to handle high-volume workloads efficiently.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Radiologist with proficiency in high-volume reading environments
- Ability to interpret X-Ray, CT, MRI, US, and Nuclear Medicine images
- Comfort with emergency and inpatient imaging, including stroke protocols
- Strong understanding of radiologic standards and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Subspecialty expertise in MSK, Neuro, or Nuclear Medicine
- Prior experience working in a tele-radiology or remote setting
- Certification in advanced radiologic specialties
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid state medical license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology
- Minimum of 3 years of radiology reading experience, preferably in high-volume ER/inpatient contexts
Other Requirements:
- Available to start on or around 02/13/2026
- Comfortable with remote work arrangements and technology
- Must include malpractice insurance in compensation package
- Travel and licensure reimbursement as applicable
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
