As a key member of our team, you will deliver comprehensive outpatient radiation oncology services, including conventional radiotherapy, 3D radiotherapy, IGRT, and IMRT, utilizing our advanced EMR systems (Epic and Mosaiq). With a typical patient load of 18-30 per day, your skills will directly impact patient outcomes, all within a well-structured, collaborative setting.
Required Skills:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active Ohio medical license
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiation Oncology
- Proven experience in external beam radiation therapy, including IMRT and IGRT
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Epic and Mosaiq
- Strong interpersonal and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently within a small team setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in outpatient oncology clinics
- Familiarity with trauma-level hospital environments
- Additional certifications in radiation safety or advanced radiotherapy techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of recent Radiation Oncology practice
- Prior locum or temporary coverage experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to cover shifts typically up to two weeks, with scheduling flexibility
- Credentialing estimated at approximately 16 weeks; prompt provider documentation required
- Travel expense reimbursement including mileage, hotel, flight, and rental car when applicable
