Required Skills:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid Medical License for Practice in Iowa
- Proven experience managing OB cases, including deliveries and triage
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hospital setting
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospitalist or inpatient obstetric care
- Familiarity with EMR systems (specific system to be determined)
- Ability to handle GYN emergency cases and manage OB triage efficiently
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience is a plus
- At least 2 years of obstetric practice in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability to begin work starting December 31, 2025
- Willingness to cover clinic and call duties as per the MHAS model
- Must meet all hospital and state licensing requirements for practicing in Iowa
