Required Skills:
- Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB experience
- Valid Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Proven ability to manage labor and delivery cases independently
- Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills
- Calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in hospitalist or inpatient OB services
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of inpatient OB experience in a hospital setting
- Past locum or temporary physician roles are a plus
Other Requirements:
- Active medical license in Texas
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- Ability to travel to San Antonio, TX, as needed
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required
