Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree with full medical licensure in Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Valid DEA and state medical license with no flagged issues
- Proven experience in obstetric care and hospitalist duties
- Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a hospitalist or OB inpatient setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of clinical practice as an OB hospitalist or obstetrician in a hospital setting
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Able to start by 12/31/2025
- Willing to undergo credentialing and expedited privileges processing
- Must maintain current licensure, certifications, and comply with all hospital policies
