Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist (Rockwall, TX)

Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetrics experience
- Valid State medical license in Texas or the ability to obtain one
- Current DEA certification and ACLS/PALS certifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in obstetric emergencies and labor management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and obstetric procedures
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, are advantageous
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years experience in obstetrics or hospital-based practice
- Prior experience providing obstetric care in a hospital setting preferred
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on or around December 31, 2025
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
- Clean malpractice history; hospital can provide expedited privileges for qualified applicants
- Must comply with all state and federal healthcare regulations
