We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician to provide exceptional obstetric care at CHI St. Anthony, a thriving healthcare facility committed to excellence. Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Oregon
- Proven experience in OB hospitalist roles or inpatient obstetric care
- Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to perform emergency procedures related to obstetrics
- Familiarity with rural healthcare settings
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree
- At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting with shift-based schedules
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work 20 shifts per month scheduled as 24-hour shifts
- Shifts include weekday clinic work and on-call duties; weekends are on-call only
- Must hold or be able to secure Oregon medical licensure and relevant certifications
- Willingness to work in a rural healthcare environment
