Required Skills:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Valid state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Oregon
  • Proven experience in OB hospitalist roles or inpatient obstetric care
  • Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Ability to perform emergency procedures related to obstetrics
  • Familiarity with rural healthcare settings
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree
  • At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
  • Prior experience working in a hospital setting with shift-based schedules

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work 20 shifts per month scheduled as 24-hour shifts
  • Shifts include weekday clinic work and on-call duties; weekends are on-call only
  • Must hold or be able to secure Oregon medical licensure and relevant certifications
  • Willingness to work in a rural healthcare environment

This engaging opportunity offers an hourly pay rate of $214.50.
