We are looking for a skilled and compassionate OB Hospitalist to join our team in Pendleton, Oregon, starting December 1, 2025. What You'll Do:
As a Locum OB Hospitalist, you'll be responsible for managing inpatient obstetric cases, collaborating with a dedicated medical team, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients throughout your shifts. Your expertise will directly impact the health of women and their babies in a critical care setting within the CHI St. Anthony hospital.
Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited program
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in Oregon
- Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services or inpatient obstetrics
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working in a hospitalist or locum tenens setting
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Familiarity with rural healthcare settings and community-oriented care
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics, preferably within hospital systems
- Prior locum tenens experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work about 20 shifts per month, including 24-hour shifts that involve clinic work on weekdays and on-call duties during nights and weekends
- Must be willing to travel to and work in Pendleton, OR
- Valid Oregon medical license, DEA registration
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date certifications and licensure
