As an OB Hospitalist, you will provide essential maternity and obstetric care, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and infants in a collaborative hospital environment.

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license to practice in Virginia
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Family Medicine with obstetric hospitalist experience
• Proven ability to manage labor and delivery, postpartum care, and emergency obstetric situations
• Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Computer skills sufficient for electronic medical record documentation

• Experience working in a hospitalist or inpatient obstetric care environment
• Previous locum or temporary staffing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Bilingual abilities relevant to the community served

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of two years of recent obstetric hospitalist experience
• Prior experience in North Chesapeake or similar urban/suburban settings

• Commitment to working scheduled shifts starting 12/30/2025
• Ability to travel for short-term assignments as needed
• Active and unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
