Required Skills
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
- Proven experience in obstetric care and inpatient hospital settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with patient management software and hospital EMR systems
- Skills in emergency obstetric procedures
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree with completion of OB-GYN residency
- Minimum of 2+ years of clinical practice in obstetrics
- Previous experience as an OB hospitalist or in a hospital-based setting
Other Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
- Ability to travel to North Chesapeake, VA as needed
