Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid and unrestricted Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Board certification or eligibility inOB/GYN
- Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist roles or inpatient OB care
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience as a locum or temporary physician
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records systems
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or other languages beneficial for diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Residency or fellowship training in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics, including hospital settings
Other Requirements:
- Current medical license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Willingness to travel to Houston, TX; all travel, licensure, and certification reimbursements provided when applicable
- Ability to commit to scheduled shifts with flexibility as needed
