Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Austin, TX

Required Skills:
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas
- Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB Delivery privileges
- Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospitalist services
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage obstetric emergencies
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Previous experience as a locum or temporary physician
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, to better serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience
- Recent clinical practice within the past 12 months
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on December 31, 2025
- Willingness to travel as needed for coverage
- Compliance with all hospital and state license requirements
- Certified in or willing to obtain any additional hospital-specific training
