Required Skills:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas medical license and current board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Proven experience in OB hospitalist services or inpatient obstetrics
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working in a hospitalist setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish
- Advanced life support certifications (ACLS, NRP)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient obstetrics experience
- Prior locum or temporary physician roles preferred but not required
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one quickly
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on December 31, 2025
- Must hold or be willing to obtain necessary certifications
- Willingness to travel as needed within the Austin area or state
