What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Proven expertise in Maternal Fetal Medicine, including procedures like amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling
- Strong skills in managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal diagnoses
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly EPIC and Viewpoint
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and support staff
- Exceptional attention to detail and patient-centered approach
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in ultrasound, including Level III fetal imaging
- Familiarity with gestational procedures such as cerclage and managing complex maternal-fetal co-morbidities
- Prior work in inpatient and outpatient settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar clinical setting
Other Requirements:
- Active medical license in Virginia or ability to obtain
- Certification in fetal procedures preferred
- Willingness to work during the scheduled open dates (no guaranteed hours outside these)
- Credentialing timeframe estimated at 90 days
