365 Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist for a locum opportunity in Syracuse, New York. This assignment offers both day shift and nocturnist options within an established inpatient medicine program supported by a collaborative hospitalist team.
This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a predictable block schedule with ongoing coverage needs.
• 12-hour shifts
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• One week on / one week off schedule
• No call responsibilities
• Inpatient rounding and admissions
• Adult medicine patient population
• Average admissions: 10–12 per shift
• Average inpatient census: 15–18 patients
• APP support available
• EMR: Epic
• Inpatient admissions and daily rounding
• Management of adult medical patients
• Coordination of inpatient care plans
• Respond to in-house codes for assigned patients
• Admit and manage hospitalized patients
• Perform daily rounding on inpatient units
• Coordinate care with nursing and consulting teams
• Provide timely documentation and care transitions
• Manage assigned patient emergencies and codes
• Established hospital medicine program
• Collaborative physician team
• APP support available
• Structured block schedule for work-life balance
• Ongoing long-term coverage need
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine / Family Medicine
• Active New York medical license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Clean malpractice and background history
• NPDB Self-Query required
