Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Hospitalist (OB) in Fort Worth, TX
Are you an experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist seeking a flexible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on women's health? Pediatrix Medical Group invites you to join our dynamic team on a per diem basis at Texas Health Harris Methodist Alliance Hospital in Fort Worth. This reputable OB Hospitalist Program offers outstanding administrative support and a community-focused environment, serving over 50,000 patients annually. Responsibilities:
- OB triage and admissions
- Delivery attendance and surgical assistance at Cesarean sections
- Inpatient care management
- Seeing unassigned patients and providing private call coverage
- Covering the OB floor
- ER consults for GYN emergencies
- Emergency response in Labor and Delivery
Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas
- Proven experience in hospital-based OB/GYN care
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to perform emergency procedures and handle high-pressure situations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in community hospital settings
- Familiarity with advanced health information technology systems
- Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, are a plus
- Prior work as a hospitalist in women's health
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of OB/GYN residency program
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology
- Previous locum or per diem work is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Emergency Responder Certification (if applicable)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Must adhere to all hospital and professional standards and protocols
- Valid Texas medical license and board certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50
