Overview
Step into a pivotal role providing inpatient neurological care across three vital hospitals in the Loveland Greeley region. Youll be part of a dedicated team managing adult patients with a focus on stroke and neuro-inpatient cases, ensuring exceptional care in a full-service hospital setting. This position offers a balanced schedule of 12-15 shifts per month, including 24-hour shifts, night calls, and tele-stroke coverage, all within a supportive, well-staffed environment with comprehensive resources. Required Skills
- Active medical license in Colorado or ability to obtain
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Proven experience in neuro hospitalist care or inpatient neurology
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Previous involvement in stroke or neurocritical care teams
- Knowledge of telestroke protocols
- Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of hospital-based neurology practice preferred
- Prior locum or hospitalist experience is a plus
Other Requirements
- Availability to start as soon as credentialed, with planned start date of May 13, 2026
- Travel reimbursement managed with flight, lodging, car rental, and mileage allowances
- Must adhere to all hospital and state licensing regulations
- Availability for 24-hour shift coverage with night call responsibilities
