Locum - Physician - Gastroenterology Lakewood CO

Summary: St. Anthony Hospital is looking for Urgent December coverage with their Gastroenterology team. Site requires ERCP and EUS to be considered.

RATES:

Malpractice Must be included in rates.

Orientation $262.50 - $275 - half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours

On Call (Daily) $5,200 - $5600; - Per 24 hours to include 8 hours gratis"

24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - $7800 - 8400 - Per 24 hours to include 8 hours gratis"

Call Back $525 - $550 Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.

Holiday Call Back $787.50 - 825 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.

Average callback hours: Weekday: 11.63 hours; Weekend: 10.38 hours

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• All shifts end the following morning at 7a.
• June 23-28
• July 20-26
• Aug 30-Sept 3
• Sept 11-12
• Nov 7-11
• Nov 30-Dec 5
• Dec 26-31
• Jan 2027 ongoing dates will be presented once these dates have been filled.

Details:

• 24 hour call - 7a-7a
• 5-7 days per month, ongoing into 2025.
• Setting: Inpatient
• Level 1 Trauma
• Required Procedures/Job duties: Scoping, ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleed, Evaluation of GI problems.
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: None
• Reason for coverage: Gaps in coverage.

EMR Required Training:

• Credentialing Preapp and full app must be completed and submitted to move provider into "applicant in training" to generate AD account and begin EMR account set up. Once AD account creation begins it can take up to 5 days to create account.
• Module (learn lessons) Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
• EMR Virtual (PPL) training Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed at least one week prior to the providers first day.
• First Day Details - Site requires completion of EMR Modules and training, before first day details can be released.
• All candidates must complete the following EMR questionnaire and detail it in the notes section of the candidates submission at time of presentation.

• Preferred Lodging: Candidates must be willing to stay at one of the preferred hotels only and must request the prenegotiated rate at time of booking to be considered.

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: 60-90 day standard, Emergency privs 1-2 weeks with clean file.

• Patient population: Adult, Geriatric, Adolescent
• Admissions, 8-10 new patients & follow ups. 5-8 scopes per day.
• 15 years old and 50 kilograms for a pediatric trauma. Otherwise, Pediatric patients are not admitted to the facility.
  GI does not admit they are just a consult service.
  24/7 intensivists & hospitalists at site.
• 24/7 Trauma Services at site.

• Board Certified Gastroenterology - [REQUIRED]

• Active DEA - [REQUIRED] Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
