Summary:St Vincent is looking for 4 locums to provide emergency medical care to patients in the community from pediatric to elder. This is a Level 2 trauma center. Regional Cardia center.

Schedule/Availability Requirements:
Shift type: Day shifts, Night Shifts and Evening Shift.
Coverage time for shifts are as follows: 6a-3p, 8a-6p, 10a-10p, 2p-12a, 6p-4a, 10p-6a. Average hours per month is about 130.
Start date: May 1st

Duration of locum need: 12 months

Setting: ED
Duties:1.8 patients per hour. Responsible for procedures: reductions, cardioversions, moderate sedation, lacerations, chest tubes, intubations, central lines, traumatic injuries, ekg interpretation etc...
Our physicians work as a team in the department and routinely assist each other in complicated patients.

Support Staff: General Surgery, GI, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Peds, OB/GYN, nephrology, cardiology/cath lab, urology coverage. Traume, ACLS, PALS trained nurses.
