What You’ll Bring:
- Board Certification in Cardiology, with specialization in Non-Invasive practices
- Proven expertise in performing and interpreting electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle inpatient, outpatient, and call responsibilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to supervise other healthcare providers
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is preferred
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
- Experience working in hospital-based cardiology programs
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
Ideal Candidates:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution, with board certification in cardiology
- Active state medical license in Virginia or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe
- At least 2 years of clinical cardiology experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Commitment to local practice, with preference for providers residing in or near Richmond
- Ability to start coverage promptly, with availability from April 28, 2026
- Willingness to work full-time (Mon-Fri) plus call responsibilities
