Summary: Cardiovascular PAs/NP's with recent CV surgery experience to be considered. Substantial experience in endovascular vein harvesting (EVH) required! Please specify experience on presentation.

RATES:

Malpractice Must be included in rates.

Orientation $135-142.50 - half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours

Hourly $270-285 - Per hour, not OT

Holiday $405-427.50 - Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. Per holiday hour, no OT

Nightly Call $750-800 - Per night call to hold the pager, to include 2.5 hours gratis

Holiday Nightly Call - $1,125-1200 - "Per night call to hold the pager, to include 2.5 hours gratis

Call Back $270-285 Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.

Holiday Call Back $405-427.50 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

  • July 13-16
  • July 20-26
  • Dec 23-27
  • All shifts, including weekends are 10hrs onsite then night call.
  • All shifts 7a-5p onsite then night call 5p-7a. Call back is very minimal.

Facility Location: Redding, CA

Setting: Level II Trauma Center

Duties: We are currently doing about 10-11 heart surgeries per month, but we also do other thoracic cases that the PA may assist with. We do rounds every morning and the PA s are writing notes on post op patient, sometimes that is a shared duty with the surgeons. We usually have less than 10 patients in the hospital at a time. We do the follow-up clinic here at the hospital in the afternoon on Tuesday and Thursday (often after a morning surgery) and see up to 6 patients. Once in a while we see a patient at other times if there is an issue that can t wait until our next clinic day.

Required Procedures: Must have recent and substantial cardiovascular surgical assist experience. EVH experience is required!!!!
