Locum - Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic Clinton Twp, MI

Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is looking for a Locum PA to assist in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Practice Setting: Inpatient OR
Trauma Level: Level 2
Patient Population: Adult

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Call Schedule: Varies; rotational
Call Ratio: 1:4
Average Patient Volume: 4 8 patients per day

APP Autonomy: No

Supervision Details: Physician present in the OR

Primary Duty: Assist in surgery

EMR System: Epic

Board Certification Required: NCCPA
State License Required Prior to Assignment: Yes (no pending licenses accepted)

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year Cardiothoracic OR experience required; no new graduates accepted; robotic experience preferred but not required

Required Procedures: Central venous and dialysis catheter placement; arterial line and intra aortic balloon pump placement; retrieval of vascular tissue for bypass conduit; endoscopic retrieval; chest tube insertions; thoracentesis

ACLS & BLS through AHA
