What Youll Do
- Provide anesthesia care for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart surgeries.
- Support general OR cases as needed, including supervising CRNAs.
- Assist during complex cardiac procedures, including TEE-guided cases.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including nights and holidays.
- Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes for adult and geriatric populations.
What You Need
Required:
- Certified in TEE and completed an approved CV anesthesia fellowship or equivalent experience.
- Achieved testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography (NBE).
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Nebraska.
- At least 5 years of documented CV anesthesia experience if fellowship-trained applicants are unavailable.
Preferred:
- Experience in high-volume cardiac surgical centers.
- Ability to supervise CRNAs when needed.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
