An Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be able to provide high -quality care to a diverse patient population.<\/span>

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Provide medical care to patients in the emergency department<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, including injuries, illnesses, and emergencies<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Administer medications<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Initiate and manage patient care plans<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Provide education and counselling to patients and their families<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities<\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Qualifications:<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Board -certified or board -eligible in Emergency Medicine<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 3+ years of experience in an emergency department setting<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong clinical skills and judgment<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/span>
      <\/li>

This two-day continuing education symposium will center on the nuts and bolts of everyday care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, and present new ideas for tailoring the most appropriate treatment plan for each individual. Focus will be placed on gauging and monitoring therapy, including recognizing symptoms, evaluating risk factors, guiding treatment through imaging, general and functional testing, and appropriate therapy. Unlike most programs, this will be delivered as a case based program. In other words, how would I manage a diabetic patient with these lipid levels? Case examples make the lectures more relevant to everyday practitioners.
